Our Journey to Trenton United
Trenton United Church was established January 1st, 2015 as a result of the amalgamation of the three United Churches of Trenton Ontario. The journey is somewhat unique. The amalgamation included three separate pastoral charges.
The three existing pastoral charges had much in common as they began to work toward amalgamation:
- our desire for meaningful worship and great fellowship
- our common concern for community outreach
- our shared love for Christian music that is uplifting and inspirational
- our desire to make connections: Connecting God with us, connecting with children, connecting to the here and now
- each church was working hard with few resources
- our great desire to do More with More
